This policy explains what information DevPool collects when you use devpoolinc.com, why we collect it and what you can do about it. DevPool is a fully remote AI automation and development agency based in Pakistan. If you have any question about this policy, email info@devpoolinc.com.

What we collect and why

When you send the contact form

We collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. We use them only to reply to you and talk about your project. The form is delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a service that forwards form messages by email.

When you talk to Dex, our voice assistant

Dex only listens after you tap him and allow your microphone, and he stops when you tap him again. Your recording, or the question you type, and the last few messages of the conversation are sent through our server to Groq, Inc. (groq.com) so it can turn your speech into text, write an answer about DevPool and speak it back. We do not save your recordings or the conversation on our server. Groq processes them under its own privacy policy. Please do not share private or sensitive details with Dex.

To stop misuse, our server keeps a short record of how many questions each IP address asks. These records are deleted after a few minutes.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics on every page to understand how people use the site: which pages they visit, how they found us, their device type and approximate location. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics does not set cookies until you click Accept on our cookie notice. Until then it only receives basic signals without cookies or identifiers, which Google uses to estimate visits. Everywhere else, Google Analytics sets its cookies when the page loads.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page, block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

WhatsApp and email links

If you click a WhatsApp or email link, you leave our site and continue in WhatsApp or your email app. Those services handle your messages under their own policies.

Things saved in your own browser

The site remembers your light or dark theme, whether you have already seen the "Tap Dex to talk" hint and your cookie choice. These are stored in your browser only and are never sent to us.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the time of each visit, to keep the site secure and working. Fonts load from Google Fonts and some code loads from jsDelivr, so your browser shares its IP address with those services when the page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages and emails for as long as we need them to answer you and to work with you. If we do not start a project together, we delete them within two years. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We only share it with the services named above, which help us run this site, or when the law requires it. Some of these services are based outside your country, including in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email info@devpoolinc.com and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have further rights under your local data protection law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
